“Lovely hotel, very close to M5, superb front of house staff, very pet-friendly, nice bar and outside seating area. Very clean, comfy bed, big pillows, good shower. The only thing that brings down our score was the unexpected visitors who came into our room at 8:45am, despite us not having checked out. That process needs looking into.”

“When I arrived, I was struck how beautifully situated (walk out of the station and there it is!) and tastefully decorated the hotel was. It's a gorgeous old building. Staff were wonderful. It was only when I met up with some clients that they said "oh the one run by YMCA.?" And indeed it is. They train young people in hospitality, and I think that makes it even better!! Will definitely stay again. Especially as it was cheaper than other local chain 'budget' hotels”
