“Fantastic location, great staff and great food.”

“ Beautiful hotel that has had a lot of work done to it recently. But I was annoyed that we had to pay £5 a day on top of our hotel bill for parking in the hotel carpark. Plus the pillows were very hard & uncomfortable, & there was only one socket available to use in the room. ”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I went with a friend & we had separate classic rooms & they were very comfortable & well looked after. I had a view of The Crescent. The spa facilities were absolutely amazing! Zoe was my masseur & was excellent. The hotel restaurant was faultless too. Staff were attentive & nothing was too much trouble. Toby in the bar was so customer focussed & had a good sense of humour & very efficient. The only negative was the inside of the wardrobe in my friend’s room……

“We stayed here for our day trip to Chatsworth House. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. We had arrived late in the night and the restaurant was closed but the staff kindly prepared us food which was delicious. The room was clean and the bathtub is great to soak in after a long day of sightseeing! ”

“A fabulous property within the Peak District National Park, serving good food & beer, but also easily accessed from Sheffield too. A short drive from the Ladybower Dam for Dambuster fans & the Snake Pass for those who may enjoy the drive to Glossop & back !”

“The history and good situation. I would have liked to have a a menu change for dinner, each evening. We loved to food the first night. And was looking forward to seeing the next day menu. But it was the same. Breakfast was first class. ”

“It's in the student halls "village". There can be noise from reveller students overnight , guess you just hope for the best. I have noticed it can get pretty hot - the duvets whilst not thick do seem very warm. The bed was a wide single which I have to say was very comfy! I took my own pillows as can be a bit funny with pillows. Staff friendly. These buildings do tend to suffer from slamming door syndrome which I noticed a couple of times, but not too bad (please keep an eye on the maintenance……

“We were welcomed and the room was clean and the beds really comfortable, nice walk from the door but also lots of gorgeous quaint villages within short drives. The food was good and no issue with parking at all. ”

“I needed a break away on my own after a recent bereavement. Biggie Hall Hotel surpassed my wildest expectations. Such a beautiful Hotel: really friendly, helpful staff. Immaculate, clean, stylish room. I dined in : good food. Stunning gardens and an awesome 17 century house with immaculate decor. ”

“Lovely warm, clean and cosy accommodation in a beautiful village. We travelled early in the week in low season, so the pub understandably wasn't open on Monday and Tuesday, Also there is very poor sign for mobile phone and data and we were unable to get the wi fi password, which made contact for work a bit difficult. Otherwise great stay, would visit again ”
