"Service was prompt & accommodating to all requests. Always very friendly & appreciate the 24 hour receptionist at the door. My suggestions or improvement: - Provide Breakfast trays, compostable utensils, better food variety. Breads, oranges and Dannon yogurt are limited choices (maybe trade some oatmeal pkts for less variety of breads). - Dump the plastic soaps and shampoos. Provide soap, shampoo and conditioner bars wrapped in paper packaging."

"Great hotel, newly updated amenities were appreciated. We tried to check in early and were excited when we were informed there was a room ready, sadly they charged us for early check in. I think if there is a room available it would be nothing to just allow guests in without a fee. Disappointing. That aside, I would recommend this hotel. I haven’t been to Tenderloin area in about 6/7 years, but the homelessness and addictions have become such a problem. Nothing against Hotel Emblem but good to...

"The Clift Royal Sonesta was a fabulous hotel! The staff were friendly from check-in to check-out, and our room was lovely and comfortable. We enjoyed the drinks and appetizers at the Redwood Room, as well as breakfast at Frederick’s. It was located close to Union Square, many restaurants and the stops for the Big Bus tour. I would stay here again!"

"Cleanliness and staff service were exceptional! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Although the room and bathroom were somewhat compact, with the shower being especially snug, the hotel's central location was excellent. However, the neighborhood felt a bit sketchy at night. Despite this, I would still recommend this hotel overall."
