"Our family had a great stay at this retro get away for labor day weekend. There was more than enough room for all of us. We were all able to have our own room/space to sleep. The property manager was quick to respond with any questions we had and let us in as soon as we arrived. The house it self could use some updating but overall no complaints! "Preplanned trip before snow prediction. 2 couples have cottages in neighborhood but both were winterized so we decided to rent a house nearby. Rough travel going up but house was delightful. Clean and comfortable. Communication with owner was good. Easy entry. Would recommend. Plan on renting again."

"We stayed for a weekend with my cousin and our teenage daughters..all had a great time. The neighbor lady, Carol was very sweet and helpful if we needed anything during our stay. "We had a great time staying here! We have been to many places and this one has been the only one that supplied everything you could need. Kids had a blast fishing all day. Great friendly neighborhood. If you’re looking for a place to make great family memories, this is the place! We did have a major bug hatching going on during our stay. Didn’t really affect us as the bugs didn’t bite. Also, can’t really predict Mother Nature. As far as everything else goes, beds were cozy. Cabin was clean....

"I’m a hiker so this location was perfect. My friend and I drove about 3-5 miles down the road until we found a parking spot and took off into the Au Sable forest and hiked for hours with our dogs. The home is cozy with great views and all of the basics for a great stay. Highly recommend."
