"The barn was great. The location was very close to a number of small towns that had fun things to do. It was clean and comfortable. The owner was quiet upstairs but helpful and available by text. She stopped out once to make sure the dogs weren't bothering us... They weren't. My kids loved playing fetch with them. We didn't get to use the fire pit because it was so windy, but we would definitely come back next time we're in the area."

"This property is a duplex. That should be disclosed in the listing. Compared to other VRBOs we’ve stayed at, this one is lacking in the kitchen. Not well stocked with spices,pans, utensils, ziplocks, etc. The house is so slanted that we couldn’t even sit in the dining room."

"You could not ask for more! Although we only had 8 people (it sleeps 16), you can tell the owners want to be sure that it not only sleeps 16 but has enough of everything for 16 - dishes, seating, towels, etc. They even had two coffee makers that were kept busy with the 8 of us! There are two casual living areas - both very comfortable. A great, large deck off the back and another on the front for viewing Lake Pepin. We found absolutely everything in the kitchen we needed! Every room was clean...

"This is a great place for the family and located close to everything. Mall of America about 20 minutes away and Afton Alps ski area was about 14 minutes straight shot. We was there to teach the little ones to snowboard. Afton Alps is a good place for beginners"

"We were in St. Paul for the Frozen Four and the group of 8 adults stayed at this fantastic house. The host was very responsive to any questions we had and was kind enough to allow us an early check in since we had groups driving in from Maryland, Missouri and Wisconsin. The house was beautiful. It was probably the easiest booking we have ever done with a VRBO and the house was one of the most reasonably priced we have stayed in. Thank you for letting us stay here."

"We got married in Lake City this past weekend and rented the house for some of our bridal party. We were able go check in early so people could get ready for the rehearsal on Friday. On Saturday it was our get ready spot for the bridesmaids. The living room, kitchen dining room area was so perfect for getting hair and makeup done. "Great place for a private retreat in isolation - it’s at the end of a road, immediately adjacent to the WI channel of the Mississippi River. A little boat traffic and periodic train, but nothing that is disturbing. There are two separate fire pits at your disposal with plenty of firewood too! Cabin is small but perfect for 1 or 2."
