“We were visiting the area with family for a graduation from SIU. The house worked out even better than we expected. The comfortable house, the location on the lake, and the kayaks and canoe all helped to make it a fun, memorable trip. The owners were great. Highly recommended.”

“The first things my children said when we arrived is that it looks like a small castle. Overall, the home was well stocked with towels, and everything was in working order. This is our first VRBO, so I cannot comment on cleanliness standards fully, but from what we could tell, the place was clean. “The house is huge, it was more than enough room for 6 adults and a baby. The island is perfect for serving charcuterie that you can pick up all the shops in Galena. The kitchen is well appointed to make any meals you need to during your stay. There is a washing machine which was convenient with a baby.
