“Rented this specifically since it was outside of resort areas. Not far from Kailua-Kona, though - only a 15-min drive. Daughter and I went to go hiking and experience nature, and this location was perfect for that! (We could even birdwatch from the lanai!) Found the house and the room clean and well-maintained. Note in response to other reviews: This is a house converted to guest rooms, so yes, you may hear a bit of noise from other guests, but I personally didn't find it a problem. And the……

“About 10 min from KOA airport up on the hillside. There were 4 units, 2 up and 2 down. The upper units had a good view of the sea and airport. ”

“Online description was incorrect. Facility had a weird smell and we had to mitigate that issue ourselves. Condo was right on a thru road through complex, but very close to bbq and pool. Condo needed updating and the bathroom was subpar.”

I loved the beach cottage feel and the location was perfectly nestled across the street from the ocean and near many restaurants and shopping. I especially loved the lobby/office kitty that greeted me upon arrival with purrrrs and greeted me again at check-out. It had a warm and pleasant atmosphere filled with Aloha.🌺”
