“I enjoyed my stay. The only thing I had an issue with is when I took a nice warm shower the fire alarm went off. Felt like it woke up everyone on my hall but the stay was nice. But it would be nice to be warned about the steam in the rooms at check in ”

“Service was fast and friendly. I appreciate them being dog friendly. The bathroom door stuck pretty bad and he was hard to close. The lock on the door was a bit finicky. Overall the room was clean and comfortable. ”

“The was very friendly and efficient. They offered a limited happy hour which was quite welcome. Due to a good portion of the town decimated by a tornado, there were many out of town workers at the hotel and the kitchen personnel rose to the occasion keeping all of the guests fed at breakfast. One of the best La Quintas that I have ever seen. ”

“It was a great time! Power went out due to a tornado 3 miles down the street, while we were all in shelter, and the staff was amazing and handled it really well! Would highly recommend staying here!”

“This property was nice for rich people but there was nowhere to eat that wasn’t going to cost $75/person. There wasn’t a pool. There wasn’t continental breakfast. The area surrounding the hotel would have been beautiful if there hadn’t been 5 tornados touch down 3 days before our arrival. As it was, most places were closed or operating on minimal services. There was no cable the whole time we were there. All of that said, this is not the type of hotel I would have chosen but when nothing else is……

“Stayed many times there. This time a strong storm tore through the town. The only place to hide from tornadoes is the staircase. It does not happen but I feel these hotels would need to have a plan. The receptionist needs to be trained how to handle the situation. ”

“Got hit by a tornado during my stay but that wasn't the hotel's fault. That aside, bed was extremely comfortable and had the best sleep I've had in a while. Apart from the tornado in the middle of the night, of course.”

“Excellent check in experience - friendly young man at the counter. The only downside was the tornado warning. However the staff were professional and knew what to do, which is a feat at 1:45 AM... Power was out all night as a result, but that's obviously out of their control. 10/ best hotel for waiting out a tornado.”

“The room was fine. The facilities were fine. No problems. The staff - I called for a late checkin (noon) and they said that was fine. Then at 11:19 a cleaning lady knocked. I said, "I need a few minutes. I'm not dressed" and she kept trying to come in. I yelled that I wasn't dressed and she opened the door (the chain was on) and she kept yelling at me that it was after 11. I was almost completely naked and i kept yelling that I'm not dressed and I got a late check out. I was mortified. She just……

“It was under renovation, but my room was clean. The TV didn't work but was fixed a couple of hours after check-in. Good location. ”
