“I stayed at this property as part of a 2 week break to the Scottish highlands and in Particular I bike dthis hotel as it was close by to Beinn Eighe which I hiked as part of this trip. The hotel itself is an older building with a lot of history and culture, it has an interesting lift which is really old and unique and I’ve never seen one like it, the room was old in style and in some parts a little dusty but mostly clean. Breakfast in the morning was a Buffett and this was very good. ”

“The location is very good, very east to find, it is a very peaceful area, it also has the sea view from my room, parking can park next to the supermarket. However the room is very small, but it should be very small in the overall highland area, just depends how much you pay. Thanks!”

It was exactly as portrayed: an historic (and idiosyncratic) small inn/hotel; not fancy, very straightforward; on the water in a wonderful location; a great kitchen punching way above its weight. “Good communication from the owner before we arrived. Property was an old cottage, but quaint and clean and had everything we needed except milk or sugar. The washer and dryer was a bonus. ”

“Stayed in the cabins. They were amazing! Full kitchen and little dining area and couch with a coffee table. Very nice bathroom with large shower and extremely comfortable bed! Best night sleep I had on my trip! Also the restaurant there is really fabulous! And it’s just a quick 10 minute walk to the grocery store and cute shops! Great location and will definitely stay there again. :)”

“Our room was large and very clean. It was a corner room so we had a good breeze to keep the room comfortably cool. One window had a view of the loch and one window had a view of the mountains. ”

The onsite restaurant, The Sprigg, was across the parking lot and we checked in and out there with the staff since there was no staff member at the Manse. We were impressed that the staff seemed to all be able to help guests both at The Sprigg and the Manse. It made the experience seem very personal and inviting. The Health Suite was impressive, but we did not use the facilities due to our……
