“An excellent, comfortable and stylish stay in the peaceful highlands a short distance from Fort Augustus. Well located for exploring the area around Loch Ness and the Eastern side of the North Coast 500, we also took a day trip to the Isle of Skye which was easy enough. Thoroughly impressed by the facilities in the cottage, very tastefully decorated and with everything you might need whilst away. The tea, coffee and milk on arrival was a nice touch. Couldn’t recommend Faebuie Cottages highly ……

“The location was perfect, a walk to the main street with food and shops. Apartment was very small quarters and the doors were difficult to lock and open. Unfortunately the dryer was not operational. The entire place was amazing and beautiful to walk around.”

“We recently spent a week in the Raven Wing apartment. It was clean, well equipped and comfortable. The photos accurately depict the apartment. The old abbey (now the Highland Club) is a beautiful old building. It is about a 3 minute walk from the apartment to the heart of Fort Augustus with its restaurants and shops. Despite its proximity to the heavily touristy area, the grounds and apartment are peaceful and quiet. Beyond Fort Augustus, there is lots to explore in the area. We thoroughly……

“This property is magical! There's not a better word for it! The property itself is located right on Loch Lochy, which is a quick drive to Fort William, Spean Bridge, the Ben Nevis gondola ride area. The views from the property are spectacular!! I could have sat in the living room (it was cold outside) and looked at the loch and mountain right across for days! Everytime you looked at the mountain, there were different colors to see .. it was ever changing! From the snow at the top to the rainbow……

Communication with the property owner was a breeze, she was on site to welcome us and explain a few things when we arrived. Great restaurant recommendations to local gems were fantastic. Breakfast at Rain and a birthday dinner at Old Pines were amazing. Immaculate, comfortable and serene lodgings with amazing views of Ben Nevis. Wish we could have stayed longer!”

“This was a very nice place to stay for 2 nights. I hiked Ben Nevis and did some rock climbing in the area. Super convenient and in the country. Comfy bed, nice shower. All these smaller properties are hard to book online. I thought I booked 2 twin beds and ended up sharing a king bed with my mom. This happened several times. It was likely my fault. ”
