“Stayed here while looking for a place for our son in Alexandria, which was about 45 minutes away by car with traffic, but this place is well worth the drive since it is a beautifully appointed unit above the owner's 2nd garage and an exclusive neighborhood in Manases. Monica and David, the owners, were great! Highly recommend!”

“This is a very nice and comfortable property. If you don’t have a car, it is an easy walk to the downtown area of Takoma Park. The bed is very comfortable and the heating/cooling is excellent. I just have a suggestion or two. A light by the door would be helpful when returning to the apartment at night. Also, in addition to the bath towel and hand towel provided, a washcloth would be appreciated and the soap in the shower should be in a wrapped package. I would definitely stay here again,……

“My friends and I had an excellent stay at this property, it was the perfect size for 3 adults and very quaint and private. I will say that the listing says that it is 8.8 miles from Leesburg VA (which is where my friends and I were visiting) but that is not entirely accurate- there IS a ferry you can take across that maybe makes that number true but if you are an out of towner and are planning on just driving GPS style it ACTUALLY takes about 25-30 minutes to drive into town. Wasn’t a deal……

“The property is 3 levels with spiral staircases. 1) Downstairs "livingroom" area with sofas and TV. Washer/dryer also located there. We didn't spend much time in this room since there was no bathroom on that level 2) Second floor has the queen bed (comfy), kitchen and bathroom. This is where we spent 95% of our time. “Really disappointed. The house looks nice on the outside but on the inside, there was serious need of cleaning and upgrade. We rented the guest house since there were 3 of us. Very outdated and dirty. The comforter not clean. The second bed was the pull out sofa. The host later brought a pile of linens as if just out of the dryer for the bed…not folded and not made up before we arrived. The worst part was a very strong must odor. Smelled moldy. We just couldn’t get comfortable. Moldiness makes……
