"This place could not be in a better location. You would never know that you are practically down town Florence while staying in this little oasis. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained were you wake up to the deer, pheasant, and ducks with your morning coffee. "The check in process was long winded. We felt rushed to be there to meet the cleaner at a specific time but had been delayed in Rome getting the hire car and had had a 3.5 hour drive. "Roberta and Paolo are the perfect hosts. They met us at the villa on check in to show us about the house and helped us with advice about the area. The villa is spacious and clean. The beds are comfortable. Our group of 6 enjoyed having wine on the covered porch soaking in the incredible views. The property is gorgeous. "We had an amazing time at the Rivalta Hotel. My husband and I stayed in two different River View suites over a week, and both were equally amazing. The staff were phenomenal and went above and beyond for us. When we arrived we discovered that one of our suitcase locks was broken, and they sent someone up with tools to help us get in to it. We loved the breakfast each morning and rooftop patio. Very happy with our entire visit and will absolutely be back!"

A great find
"This was our first trip to Florence. We did a lot of research but even with that you’re never really sure you found the right place. We chose Market Urban based on the reviews. This hotel is not in the center of everything but really close and we think that was a benefit. It is a short seven minute walk from the train station, 10 minutes to the Duomo, 15 minutes to Academia and 20 minutes to Ufuzi Lots of restaurants nearby. By USA standards the rooms are a bit small BUT we had a comfortable king bed and a modern bathroom. Most importantly the people who work there are super friendly and helpful with things like recommendations for restaurants directions tours etc. I want to specifically thank David, Nick, Roberto and Giovani. If you are from the USA you will appreciate the breakfast . Scrambled Eggs, bacon, pancakes, croissants, fruit and yes real American coffee "
