Cozy Bear Cabin’s location makes it possible to feel “away from it all” without spending a lot of time in the car. With a perfect location and property, this rental provides everything a family needs to have a perfect vacation.”

“Awesome house, great location. On a chill part of the lake. Enjoyed the dock and spacious sleeping situation. The kitchen is outstanding. Hosts were prompt and polite. Food lion, abc are 5 minutes up the street. Would recommend and stay again.”

“Soooo nice!!! Everything was perfect! Easy to get to and very quiet and peaceful. Furnishings were very comfortable and lots of little touches to make us feel right at home. Maryann was most helpful in getting us checked in and out and answered all our questions right away. Overall, a fantastic weekend!!! Thanks very much!!”

“My family and I spent one night at this cute lake house. The house is fantastic—new, very clean, and well-equipped with toiletries, snacks, coffee, and creamers, plenty of towels, blankets, and games. The WiFi connection was reliable, contributing to an enjoyable stay. We had a great time overall despite very cold and windy weather. The communication with the owner was excellent, especially when we had questions about entering and locking the house on our way out.”

“Amazing property with lots of charm. House is attractive with the open wood beam structure. Location is nice right next to the marine. Cleanliness of house was very good however the balconies and dock need serious cleaning as both could not be used as they were covered with dirt and insects. Video cameras are a bit much as they are directly over prime areas like the deck and balcony which make it hard to relax or have conversations in private. I would suggest less obtrusive locations and without……

“The property is easy to access and the house is filled with natural light from the huge windows. It’s a wonderful getaway if you want to unplug and enjoy a cozy few days of quiet. We found a waterfront Mexican restaurant nearby and walked to the winery next door. It’s very clean and the host is very responsive if you have any questions. Loved drinking coffee on the deck while enjoying the peaceful pond view. Left relaxed and refreshed!”

“Everything was so smooth, from the check in to check out. We really enjoyed the beautiful water views and the hot tub! I wish the indoor pool was open a little later, but the kids were able to get in an hour of swimming before it closed. The cabin was well stocked with all essentials and was clean and cozy! The cabin was impeccably beautiful both inside and out, equipped with everything we could possibly need and more. Notably, it was spotlessly clean and offered a range of entertainment options. “We really liked the house, the lake, the area. However, we did encounter an ant problem at the house and the homeowner is aware and trying to fix it. Not fire ants, just annoying sugar ants. We ended up having to hide our food in the microwave and fridge, couldn't leave anything out on the counters, they find their way into any container it seemed.”

“We loved our stay at this home and we’ll definitely be back. The girls loved feeding the catfish in the pond and bird watching. Great place to stay if you’re able to appreciate the older style/antique type. The home is welcoming and charmed us all!”

“We wanted to get away to do some business planning for the year. Perfect location to not go far, but feel like we were away so we could focus. Had some great conversations around the fire pit! Open kitchen and living room layout made it easy to prepare dinner and keep the conversation rolling.”

“So nowhere did the Hotels ad inform us that this was a whole RESORT. Like 700 acres of resort with an activity schedule and stuff to do everyday! That was a really cool bonus, but the ad made it seem like a small collection of tiny houses, nothing more. So when i areived at midnight, we had our Uber driver drop us, two adults and 3 children under 8, off at the main building. Thank god for Philip with security!!! He helped see the funny side and empathized with me after the major travel struggles……

“We had a lovely time here! It was just the refresh we all needed. There were parts of the house that could definitely use some TLC (ie. broken trim, missing lightbulbs/insufficient light), but our group wasn’t too bothered by those things. The hot tub could have been cleaner (some of our group got rashes), but the other amenities made up for it. Despite the negatives, we would (and will) stay here again.”

“This was THE perfect spot for one last hurrah/downtime before the school year and sports pick back up. It was remote and quiet with cover water access and kayaks. Everything in the kitchen works beautifully and their is plenty of beds and space to spread out. We really enjoyed our stay”

“Right off the highway, comfortable, safe and clean! The only minor issue was the door to the courtyard closes with a loud CLUNK, and my unit was right above it. Know you need to contact the office if you're arriving after 7pm; they will text you lockbox info to get your key. Will stay here again!”
