“The house was clean and well appointed. The location was great for bike riding to restaurants and checking out the area. The views from the deck were awesome anytime of the day or night. Would stay again!”

“Quiet area great for families. Loved the outdoor space. We brought 2 large dogs and they had a safe place to enjoy without escaping. The fire pit was nice and the shed with the beach chairs and different sized bikes was awesome. The inside was clean and had nice touches. The golf cart rentals and restaurants were very convenient.”

“My husband and I really enjoyed the views and amenities given by this property. It was a good place with shallow water for kids to fish safely. The Air Hockey table was a winner for all ages. Nick, the host was always cheerful and helpful. I really do recommend spending a few days here to relax with friends and family.”

“We had 4 couples (and 8 kids) come together in this house. The house is super spacious and has tons of beds. The kids LOVED the movie room. The house is very pretty, easy to get to, and has access to insta-cart and restaurants close by (I say this only because there are parts of Lake Anna that have nothing close by). The kitchen is a great space to hang out with lots of counter space and seats. The only reason I didn't give the house 5 stars is that the house is almost brand new and has several……

“The unit is well located and was clean and looked as listed in the review. Our only concern was that the HVAC system was very loud at night. It wasn’t a sound that was all night long, but more at every hour or two intervals. Other than that we would stay at the unit again!”

“A group of us gathered for a bit of a staycation from the Richmond area. We had a ladies night on Friday and we honestly couldn't have asked for a better location!! Saturday we had some other friends join us for food on the water and it was the most relaxing setting for us to reset and connect. The kitchen was pleasantly stocked with utensils and gadgets, one friend was like "wow, they have everything!". The yard and patios are well maintained and perfect for gathering, and we really enjoyed……

“Very pretty Property. Comfortable, Welcoming, and spacious. The beds and pillows very comfy and nice. Beautiful views. Kitchen has everything needed. We loved the fire place and fire pit. One tip would be to have more information about how the all TV's work - Instructions on starting the gas fire place, fixing the ice machine, and the one burner on the stove would be a plus and having all light fixtures working upon arrival. Great Family Location. We hope to visit this property again.”

“We spent a wonderful weekend away at Ken’s lake house. We booked this just a week in advance so we could get away for Mothers Day weekend. The house was possibly the cleanest place that we’ve rented. We didn’t see any bugs or dog hair inside, even though it’s dog friendly and on the lake. It was a very short walk across a road, that’s barely used, to a playground and small beach, which was perfect for our two young kids. Our kids loved playing in the very warm water and sand, and looking at all……

“The home was absolutely beautiful with lakefront views all throughout the home. The neighborhood is quiet and very peaceful by the water. There is also lots of nature to view as we saw a beaver on the property and many birds and deer. Overall, very beautiful experience. I would recommend this home to anyone that needs a quiet getaway!!”

“Base Camp D was once again the perfect gathering place for our family Thanksgiving celebration. The kids took over the basement (and hot tub) while the adults visited upstairs. Sitting on the porch next to the heater was perfect for reading, meditating, and intimate conversations. Our only glitch was the breaker throwing twice but maintenance came right away. Wonderful place!”

“Right off the highway, comfortable, safe and clean! The only minor issue was the door to the courtyard closes with a loud CLUNK, and my unit was right above it. Know you need to contact the office if you're arriving after 7pm; they will text you lockbox info to get your key. Will stay here again!”

“Everything was so smooth, from the check in to check out. We really enjoyed the beautiful water views and the hot tub! I wish the indoor pool was open a little later, but the kids were able to get in an hour of swimming before it closed. The cabin was well stocked with all essentials and was clean and cozy! We will be back for sure! ”

“So nowhere did the Hotels ad inform us that this was a whole RESORT. Like 700 acres of resort with an activity schedule and stuff to do everyday! That was a really cool bonus, but the ad made it seem like a small collection of tiny houses, nothing more. So when i areived at midnight, we had our Uber driver drop us, two adults and 3 children under 8, off at the main building. Thank god for Philip with security!!! He helped see the funny side and empathized with me after the major travel struggles……
