“I've stayed at the Subshine House numerous times and it is as charming as ever with the new ownership. It's a serene oasis! The sunrises from the deck and expansive views from the house are amazing. The house is clean and well stocked and there is a TV in each room. My dog enjoyed playing in the big yard and water. Kiran was super nice, communitive and helpful. I will definitely come back again.”

“The property is easy to access and the house is filled with natural light from the huge windows. It’s a wonderful getaway if you want to unplug and enjoy a cozy few days of quiet. We found a waterfront Mexican restaurant nearby and walked to the winery next door. It’s very clean and the host is very responsive if you have any questions. Loved drinking coffee on the deck while enjoying the peaceful pond view. Left relaxed and refreshed!”

“A very nice and clean, spacious house and property. Unfortunately our recent May 2nd - 5th stay was plagued with poor, spotty rainy weather except for the arrival night so we didn't get to utilize all of the of outdoor features associated with the property. Having firewood available for the firepit was a nice convenience. We definitely would consider staying there again. Please note to be careful walking on the outside stone pathways, some become a little slippery when wet.”

“Everything was so smooth, from the check in to check out. We really enjoyed the beautiful water views and the hot tub! I wish the indoor pool was open a little later, but the kids were able to get in an hour of swimming before it closed. The cabin was well stocked with all essentials and was clean and cozy! “So nowhere did the Hotels ad inform us that this was a whole RESORT. Like 700 acres of resort with an activity schedule and stuff to do everyday! That was a really cool bonus, but the ad made it seem like a small collection of tiny houses, nothing more. So when i areived at midnight, we had our Uber driver drop us, two adults and 3 children under 8, off at the main building. Thank god for Philip with security!!! He helped see the funny side and empathized with me after the major travel struggles……

“This is a nice, older large house on the lake. It was a good location, right on the lake, and there were enough canoes and floats for the kids to use, with spare life jackets. Our only gripe was that the kitchen was not well-equipped. There were no pots and the pans, knives cookware was really old and unusable. So much so that we went to the local store and bought two pots and a frying pan for our use. One of the upstairs bedrooms did not have any side tables. Where do you put your water glass……

“It’s an older property. One can tell they tried to “update” with fresh paint - it wasn’t “professionally” done, there’s caked paint on the trim around the bathroom door.
