“It was a great experience for my wife and I to sleep over a pub. The staff were extremely friendly. We met some wonderful people from Wells and we had a really good beer and cider. They even made us a platter of cheese and crackers. The parking was very good, access to the pub was a little difficult due to the many staircases one had to use to get to our room. “Right from setting foot in the place, we were made to feel very welcome. We were shown to our room, even though we arrived three hours early and only wanted to see if we could drop off our bags. An ideal location for the Malton food festival. The only real issue we had was no parking, due to the festival. This issue was easily resolved by using a certain app to rent a local drive for the night. We were constantly asked if we needed anything and if things were ok with our stay. Very friendly……
