"My elderly mother and I had a good stay at the apartment while visiting my child at Oxford U recently. The apartment is within easy walking distance of shops in Summertown, and a bus route to the centre of Oxford. The apartment is comfortable and well-equipped with all one needs. There is no fan in the bathroom, which was a big dark and musty, but otherwise tip-top. Walls in the building are thin, but the neighbours were all quiet so that was no problem. "The hotel was fantastic, the room clean with a very comfortable bed, all facilities in bedroom hair dryer, tea making and toiletries, all the staff very friendly and polite especially Kayley at check in and out and a special shout out to Nat who was friendly, informative and nothing was to much bother Only slight downside had a bar meal on the Friday night starters came out at different times mine was eaten before my wife’s came out and the pizza was burnt on the bottom "

"Staff were great and the room was large and well appointed, but it was very noisy as our room faced the student union and there was a big party on the front lawn. Also, very early (before 7 am) work noises out front. "

"Beautiful heritage hotel. Breakfast was excellent value and selection. Walkable to city centre and also on major transportation routes, including the hop on hop off bus ( very convenient). There is no elevator, which the hotel was clear about but the Expedia site got wrong. The heritage rooms are worth the fee, although located on upper floors. "

"The rooms are in excellent condition. Felt modern, comfortable and clean. On-site free parking was a bonus. Great to have a restaurant in the hotel as well. Location was peaceful and not far from shops and restaurants."
