"A tornado came through on Saturday night and CHELSEA, one of the employees, went over and above to make sure guests were kept informed and were safe. She made sure all outside doors were secure and quickly spread drop cloths near the doors that were letting in rain. This was all whilst there was no power. AND…she kept apologizing for the mess! She has my vote for employee of the month/year! "

"The was very friendly and efficient. They offered a limited happy hour which was quite welcome. Due to a good portion of the town decimated by a tornado, there were many out of town workers at the hotel and the kitchen personnel rose to the occasion keeping all of the guests fed at breakfast. One of the best La Quintas that I have ever seen. "

"This property was nice for rich people but there was nowhere to eat that wasn’t going to cost $75/person. There wasn’t a pool. There wasn’t continental breakfast. The area surrounding the hotel would have been beautiful if there hadn’t been 5 tornados touch down 3 days before our arrival. As it was, most places were closed or operating on minimal services. There was no cable the whole time we were there. All of that said, this is not the type of hotel I would have chosen but when nothing else is...

"Excellent check in experience - friendly young man at the counter. The only downside was the tornado warning. However the staff were professional and knew what to do, which is a feat at 1:45 AM... "I was expecting just an average hotel room during my two week stay, but was pleasantly surprised. Three things I require of a hotel room, clean, quiet and safe and this hotel delivered. The entire hotel was well kept. My room was immaculate and the cooking facilities were great. Desk clerk Richard was so helpful and no matter what was requested he always came through. If ever in that area again I would not hesitate to book a room."
