“Having read excellent reviews of Tayview Lodges, my wife and I arrived with great expectation and we were most certainly not disappointed. Our lodge, Little Lodge 2, was immaculate and in pristine condition. The spotlessly clean windows afforded uninterrupted views of the serene surroundings, the lodges being extremely well spaced out. The owners, Ross and Georgina were away for the duration of our stay but we were warmly welcomed by Georgina’s father, Duncan. The nearby towns of Pitlochry and……

“Stables 5 .Lovely cottage in a restored Steading set back from the road and close to the river Tay. Modern and very well appointed, with a small garden for dogs, warm and traditional - contemporary decoration with a french country feel. Wonderful bathroom and extremely comfortable bed. In fact, perfect for us.”

“Lovely old clean well maintained house set in a gorgeous garden. Run by nice people who served me a really nice cooked breakfast. Only downside was the shared bathroom although it was clean, well kept and not too busy.”

“This is one of the best parking lots we encountered in all of Scotland. The hotel had a nice continental breakfast that you could also get hot or cold breakfast in addition to the continental items and it had a large variety items you can order for dinner.”

The hotel has the ambience of a beautiful country house, with many original features. We have stayed here many times and the hotel never fails to please. One very minor point, the potholes on the driveway!”

“There is no air con and the window cannot be opened. There is no curtain near the bath tub. No staff come to clean up after 11 am. Breakfast which costs 12.5 pounds but very few choices . Small hotel not quite the same as in the advertisement. ”

“We arrived late because we were on a road trip. Would have been nice to have a scaled down breakfast option before the earliest available slot at 9:15. Coffee to go would be great.”
