"The hotel itself was clean and convenient but there wasn’t any space in sea shore to enjoy the sea, all spaces were occupied by hotel canopies. Also since it’s not a private beach, lots of people walk in front of your canopies. Besides, because of sea weeds and strong waves and rocky shore it’s hard to get into the sea. Honestly If you’re trying to relax on the beach Miami beach probably is a better option."

"Great spot for a trip. The resort had everything you could need. Felt safe the entire time. The all-inclusive made things easy. Food was hit or miss as expected but you could order 4 items to find 1 or 2 that were good. Service was excellent all around. Played golf at their Hard Rock Golf Club. That was NOT as good of an experience. Nice layout but the greens were punched and top dressed with a 1/2" of sand. That made it almost unplayable and not enjoyable at all. "The catalonia riviera maya was beautiful. Resort is beautiful, clean. Pools are great. Restaurant food is all delicious. Buffet could be a bit better. We went in june so off season and a lot of times a la cartes would be closed several times a week. If you didnt go to breakfast by 10 it was difficult to eat before supper we really had to plan meal times. Bartenders could have been friendlier but everyone else was lovely. Such a relaxing and lovely resort. Will definitely go back."
