“I wanted to stay in the room. Two days after I sent a message, when I had to check out, I was told that there was no room. Parking was not allowed at the street gate on Thursday morning, and I received a ticket from 7:30 a.m. When I checked in, I was not reminded that I could not park between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. After the feedback of the problem, the customer service did not reply.”

“This was a great house to stay in for our large family. There was plenty of room for everyone (three floors!) and the house was nicely remodeled. The house is conveniently located near a stop for the train and near several good restaurants (make sure to eat at Bongo Cafe). In addition, the owner was very accommodating for my request of an early check in and responded quickly to my messages. I highly recommend staying here!”

“I normally stay in hotels, but for this trip I couldn't find one that worked well in this neighborhood, so I "took a chance" on Chicago Guest House. Winner! This place is on a wonderful residential block in the Wrigley Field area. The unit itself (3rd floor) is a beautifully maintained, charming, three bedroom apartment. The rooms are separated by a good distance, so everyone has some privacy. The living room is bright and features a large TV (for that inevitable down time). The kitchen……

“The unit was clean an orderly, however, the old carpet leaves an old mold ordor. I went to a store to purchase Febreze and Air Wick Plug Ins to mask the smell of carpet ordor. The bed linen and towels left a feeling of particialy clean due to the smell of detergent of choice used to clean bed linen and towels. In fact I use Febreze to spray down bed linen and I was unable to wash my face & body with towels and found myself washing towels prior to use, due to I could smell the use of towels of……
