Staff friendly to guests BUT rumours staff of not being pad so they left leading them short staffed! Great free swimming pool ”

“We were so well looked after - 2 people looking after us a breakfast, making sure we had enough to eat and drink and topping us up frequently! Such a friendly and welcoming hotel. Would definitely stay there again. ”

“Overall ticks all the boxes . In some need of updating , decor , furniture . Mattress too soft for me , a topper or new one would be ideal. Parking was fine. An altercation with the owner and a guest at 1.30 am on my second night didn’t help my sleep . Whilst my room was next door to the entrance , and in all probability not the fault of the owner , regardless , there are other guests in the accommodation to consider. Overall decent for the price . ”

“Lovely relaxing place to stay, good location to walk to the beach or into Shanklin and amazing views from the breakfast room, bar area and garden. Breakfasts were really tasty with a good choice of cooked and continental foods, juices and cereals. But what made our stay so special were the Hosts, Brendan and Deborah who were so welcoming, happy to recommend places to visit and eat and always ready to have a chat and a laugh – a big thank you to them and their staff.
