“If you want to feel like you are starring in your own movie in a charming English village, book Well Cottage! The cottage is situated in the most perfect location. I did not have a car. So I spent mornings on long walks and then a nice lunch in the village. Then "home" to Well Cottage to rest my back in comfort, have a nice hot bath and then an evening out or reading in front of the fire. I slept so deeply( beautiful linens) in a very cozy bed. “Charlotte and Simon's Cottage was wonderful. Very bright and clean and the grounds were excellent. This cottage gave us a great jumping off point for all our site seeing. “Accommodation exceeded our expectations. Extremely comfortable, particularly the bed! Very well equipped with quality furniture, fixtures & fittings; very well designed & considered. Lovely welcome touches including chilled wine, pls milk & fruit. If you like walking, there is a trail walk into Cirencester which takes about 20mins. All in all a very enjoyable stay, thank you. “Property was perfect for our small family for a short getaway. Well stocked with kitchenware and a very nice welcoming bottle of wine from the property owner. Really cute animal pictures and decor. Pretty garden in the backyard. Loved the village as well, and especially the children's park a short walk from the property. Diddly Squat Farm Shop was a lovely 35 min walk through the countryside. Property manager was responsive and very helpful with any questions.”

So nice to be able to go for walks straight from the front door and an ideal spot for visiting Avebury and other ancient sites in the area. The owner was friendly and helpful. Would love to return.”

There’s a good pub within easy walking distance. Warm cottage, comfy large bed and a great shower. The host responded immediately to a question we had and was very helpful.”

“Beautiful and spacious cottage with fully stocked kitchen that fit our family of four perfectly. Warm and welcoming hosts. Welcome package and guides were appreciated. Close to several activities / attractions across Cotswolds and within ten minutes of a grocery store. Kids had a blast playing in the lovely gardens and playing fetch with the friendly dog. We would absolutely return should we ever find ourselves in the Cotswolds again, and would recommend this stay to everyone.”

“Splendid property, perfectly situated for countryside walks and proximity to quintessential Cotswolds towns. Very comfortable beds, steep staircase so may not be appropriate for older people, wonderful spot!”

“There were ten of us (6 adults and 4 children) and we thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend together. There was plenty of space, comfortable bedrooms and everything one would expect to find in a property of this size. The outdoor games, the pool and the indoor games room were all great favourites with the children.”

“Great communication and a room upgrade which was a pleasant surprise. Well appointed, stylish room with comfy bed, a powerful shower and nice tea, coffee and biscuits. An eye mask and ear plugs were supplied as the only down side is there is noise from the street. The windows are sash and I expect can’t be double glazed. Probably not an issue unless you’re a light sleeper.”
