“We recently stayed for 2 nights to attend the races and picked this B&B because of its close proximity. Perfectly snug and accommodating with a delightful breakfast and some wonderful special touches.”

“The hotel did not meet expectations or the description online and we had a very disappointing stay. The private bathroom was outside the room across from the stairway with no key given, so anyone could use it even though it was to be private for you. If I knew the private bathroom was not ensuite, I would not have booked this hotel. The bathtub has a hand-held shower spray but water was either scalding hot or cold-difficult to mix to get warm water. Except for the four-poster bed, nothing else……

“I had a wonderful 2 night stay with my father. Booked this hotel from NewZealand. Warm Welcome , friendly staff & very unique interesting building. Views amazing from the room 302 Beautiful heritage building set in park like grounds with golf club. All staff excellent & Zoe very helpful with queries later evening ; night time.”

“Had a great week long stay - day tripping in all directions. Great central spot to visit both Cotswolds and Salisbury Plain! Hosts were great. We were the first guests of the season and so were the test run. No big issues. Had a great time, Jo and James were great hosts”

“There were ten of us (6 adults and 4 children) and we thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend together. There was plenty of space, comfortable bedrooms and everything one would expect to find in a property of this size. The outdoor games, the pool and the indoor games room were all great favourites with the children.”

“Great communication and a room upgrade which was a pleasant surprise. Well appointed, stylish room with comfy bed, a powerful shower and nice tea, coffee and biscuits. An eye mask and ear plugs were supplied as the only down side is there is noise from the street. The windows are sash and I expect can’t be double glazed. Probably not an issue unless you’re a light sleeper.”
