"Very nice property and friendly/helpful staff. The room was super hot when we got there. Previous guests must have cranked up the radiators. Bathroom never really cooled down, and can’t turn off the heated floors which heat the room. We opened the windows high but you risk birds and insects. Staff provided a fan which helped bit hard to sleep when too hot. Other than that all was very nice stay. "

Website and Expedia said breakfast option for full Scottish breakfast for a fee from 7:30-9:30 was not an option. The host acted like we were stupid when we asked for it. There is a restaurant below the rooms that you can order off the menu, but not until 9:00. Very misleading. We had 2 rooms reserved. One room only had 1 drinking glass with no way to get another. "An excellent, comfortable and stylish stay in the peaceful highlands a short distance from Fort Augustus. Well located for exploring the area around Loch Ness and the Eastern side of the North Coast 500, we also took a day trip to the Isle of Skye which was easy enough.
