“We had a wonderful time relaxing at this property and adventuring to the neighboring attractions. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The fireplace was our favorite. Every morning the lake showed us a new view.”

“This hotel does not have the best reviews online. Nevertheless, our stay was a pleasant one. We visited for the eclipse, so the property was fully booked. They had extra staff and made an effort by handing out goodie bags including eclipse glasses. The room was clean and the staff was helpful. Hopefully, this is a sign that the hotel is turning a corner. ”

“This could not have been a more wonderful stay. The manor house is beautiful as are the grounds. The deck overlooks the lake with a lovely path that leads to a dock. Breakfast on the deck was simply joyful. The rooms are well appointed and very clean and tidy. Breakfast was home cooked with fresh and local ingredients. Bring a bottle of wine with you for an evening taking in the fresh air and lake views. The owners are lovely and have thought of everything their guests will need. This is a must……

“This was a beautiful hotel. The view of the lake was amazing. The breakfast buffet was definitely worth it. The heated pool was not very warm. There were no recycle bins in guest room or anywhere else that were visible.”

“We stood at the Vermonter. It was our first family 2024 Trip and we wanted something different than our usual summer vacation. The place was beautiful, with the most amazing view you can wake up and go to sleep looking at. I brought in my puppy and it was just a perfect week, there’s lots of food options within 10-15 Mins driving, a park 2 mins away walking distance. Overall I was extremely satisfied with the stay. “What a beautiful place! Close to a lake, with different amenities (even though not all available during low season) and breakfast. Easy parking. We had the room with windows on top. Great stay with big bathroom/shower and very comfortable bed. The common area is very nice and very close to town too.”

“A very vale-for-money lodge, clean beddings, wide room, big bed. It’s very close to Killington Ski Area and locates a convenient place. There is plenty of parking. We would like to go back again.”
