“Great place to stay for an early spring ski trip and eclipse viewing (we drove north after checking out). Clean, cozy place and pet friendly for our small dog. Located on a quiet dirt road but close to Ludlow town center and Okemo for skiing. Not too far from Killington either (which is where we went to ski). Minor issue for me was the bed was a bit too soft for my liking but otherwise, great place and would consider again in future.”

“When we first came across the Lakeside cabin of Theresa & Cal, We wondered over taking it, and soon said, "oh yes we shall," Upon entering this quaint site on the shores of Crystal Lake, It was apparent everything was genuine, nothing seemed fake, All was tidy and neat, nothing seemed out of place, So fresh and clean, right down to each pillowcase, The options for the Lake were varied and plentiful, Absolutely nothing disappointed us, nothing was lamentable, As it then approached Fall, heading……

“Once a few hiccups were worked out we had a great stay at the house in Ludlow. The previous visitors had left a large pile of trash outside and had left the hot tub cover unsecured. After we located the cover lock for the hot tub we were able to secure it so it wouldn’t keep blowing open. The silverware drawer was also broken and falling out of the cabinet. I’m sure this will be repaired. A few little problems but the house was clean and is great for a group with ability to spread out. The mud……

“We loved the log cabin in the woods for our NYE celebration. It's quaint and has so much charm. The check-in process and communications were excellent. It is about 4.5 miles off the main road so it is in a remote area. It was great for us since we had our dog and it had a huge property for him to run around. It does have only 1 bathroom so keep that in mind if have many guests. The bed was comfortable as well as the couch. They even had a Christmas tree with lights which as a nice touch. The……

“This is our second time staying here. This year I was a little disappointed in my stay at this house. We were informed on the day of arrival that the dryer was replaced and would be hooked up three days after the start of our rental. There was some dialogue with the local manager and the local managers supervisor during the course of our stay, but in the end we never had use of a dryer in the house. The property manager Kate spoke on the phone with us and was supposed to get back to us and never……

“Nice small one-room cabin in the woods. The road is dirt and could have been difficult to traverse in snowy weather without 4-wheel drive, but was fine when we visited.”

“We stayed in the property for 2 nights. It was a short drive from okemo ski resort. The home is clean and lots of entertainment. Kitchen is pretty well equipped. The home is on top of a steep driveway so make sure you have 4WD if you go in the winter. Only complaint is that the didn’t have any firewood in the house for the fireplace. We did ended up getting some on our own and I’m still waiting for them to reimburse me.”

“We had a Christmas week trip with another family. 4 adults and 4 Teens. Location is great. Close to mountain. Would say only downside is that while there are beds for 10 people, the house is smaller than it appears in pictures and not sure it would be comfortable for that many, mostly in the common area. Overall, a good experience.”

“The home is charming, immaculate and amidst woods with no neighbors in eye or earshot. It is on a dirt road, so an awd vehicle is a good idea. A stream runs along the driveway. The Ottauquechee River is across the road. The bathroom is on the first floor, and bedrooms on the second floor. The smoke detector goes off if you saute on the stove. I recommend learning how to turn off a wired in smoke detector. You should open the kitchen window when you saute, because most of the smoke detectors……

“My family really enjoyed this Lake House. The beautiful views of the lake were breathtaking. The house had everything we needed for preparing meals. The kitchen was functional and generally well equipped. The beds in the house were particularly comfortable. We enjoyed early morning coffee on the deck with perfect views of the lake. The location was great. Lots of wonderful hiking trials in close proximity. My only suggestion to the owners is to give the house a good deep cleaning. Nonetheless,……
