“This place is really special, and 1 night is definitely not long enough. We arrived late in the afternoon to a warm welcome and a refreshing drink on the deck - the views are breathtaking. The lodges are so pretty, embroidered with the birds found on the reservoir with sequins and a skylight to the stars. Even the bath boasts the same mesmerising views. We went for a walk for sundowners with a guide, learning about the wildlife & conservation, and were rewarded with a stunning sunset. The food……

“I visited Dhora with my wife for a one-night getaway and our experience was simply outstanding. The resort itself is breathtaking; the owners/hosts are an amazing couple; and the area is ethereal. Glamping here was quite different from glamping in other places because the owners have taken extra care to ensure maximum privacy (for instance, each tent is well separated from its neighbors) and complete unison with the surrounding ecology, which has been left undisturbed and enriched. “We really enjoyed our 2 night stay, rooms were spacious and nicely appointed. We enjoyed the pool and the safaris organized by the lodge, who supplies rangers in addition to drivers in the safari vehicles. We opted to add an optional safari to increase our chances of seeing the elephants and leopards. Excellent staff, Sasha was very helpful, Venura in the restaurant was great and so was our Ranger Amida. ”

“Nous sommes restes qu’une nuit . Et tout etait parfait , la chambre etait au milieu d’une belle vegetation . La chambre décorée avec gout , nous avons adore prendre notre douche dehors avec le ciel comme plafond. Le personnel tres attentionné, avec le sourire, attentif a tous nos besoins . Un aperitif aux lueurs du brasero avant un tres bon diner ( le moisson vapeur , un vrai delice )nous avions besoin de décompresser et bien nous sommes partis detendus . “It's definitely not a luxury camping experience. The facility is not clean and food is so so. It's not worth for the money we spent. The most serious problem is getting contact with the camp. We want to do a full day safari and we tried all means to contact the hotel - email/phone/whatsapp/hotels.com link but there's no reply. We end up arranging safari through our driver. It's quite disappointing.”

“Dirty linen, dirty water bottles, slippery deck when wet, tent requires a lot of internal cleaning. Overall the place presents well, but the owners need to consider that guests will leave a negative review if maintenance is left by the wayside.”

“Decided to visit Pushkar in my last few days here in India and I didn’t regret a fair bit. The location was slightly further away from the main town, reaching here means being able to disconnect from all the bustling hectic moments I had and taking the time to unwind my whole journey. I had a chance to meet the owner of the property and he was a friendly chap to talk with along with his staff who helped to accommodate me through out the trip. “Unhygienic place and dirty rooms ”

“I am not sure that it exist. We could not find it. The guideline was wrong. No one answered the telephone. We contacted Hotels.com. They could not get in touch with Yala Wilderness Safari Camp. They tried to cancel it for us, but Yala Wilderness could not care and invoiced us anyway. Stay away from this accommandation. Hotels.com should not include them, with such a non-existing guideline to find the location and when they don´t answer their phones, then what should on do ?”
