“We had a wonderful 14 day stay in a 1-bedroom apartment on the top floor. The area around the Mansion is beautiful, walkable nature parks and fields. It is very quiet and secluded in a safe, clean area close to shopping and eateries. The restaurant at the mansion - Becketts was such a bonus to our stay. Everything we ordered was delicious and the Full English Breakfast was a huge hit for my husband, and I really enjoyed the Avocado toast and then there was the dessert case...so yummy! The room……

“Nothing not to like. Reception staff friendly and efficient. Michelle was really chatty and helpful. Great receptionist and bar tender 😆 Breakfast was excellent well cooked and tasty. Pool was clean and enjoyed a lovely swim. Would highly recommend this hotel”

“Self service so expected some instructions - couldnt get tv to work. Coffee, tea n sugar provided - no milk. Kettle supplied on shelf - no plug nearby. Low light - difficult to read. However good location, warn and clean - also cheap. :)”

“The staff were perfect; so lovely and friendly. The food and drinks were incredible. But...the building is tired. The decor needs a revamp and the fixtures and fittings are in need of modernising. It's a real shame, because the staff are doing so much right, but the building itself needs a lot of investment. ”

“We really liked the character of the hotel. Our room was lovely. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, it felt very relaxed to be there. We ate at Montey's Bar (16 of us). They took very good care of us and everyone enjoyed their food. Great breakfast too. We would happily book again.”
