It was exactly as portrayed: an historic (and idiosyncratic) small inn/hotel; not fancy, very straightforward; on the water in a wonderful location; a great kitchen punching way above its weight. One night we ended up parking in a pay to park lot about 5-10 minutes walk away. Not ideal, but not a deal breaker. Still would recommend this hotel if staying in Portree."
