“Unique place to stay but I am glad we were only there one night. The apartment had limited seating (only one loveseat) and super heavy fire doors between each room. Done for fire code but I have never seen its like!”

“Property is nice and cosy, just what you’re looking for in the Highlands, and staff were quite nice and accommodating . However when coming back on the first day we saw our bed had not been made and towels, cups or coffee capsules had not been replaced/replenished, when we asked about it we were told that they normally only did it after the third day but did offer to do it straight away if we wanted. We didn’t need it however we looked everywhere for this info and didn’t find it anywhere so if……

“Great location and comfortable beds. Great shower. Host was curt. Not hospitable at all. Website and Expedia said breakfast option for full Scottish breakfast for a fee from 7:30-9:30 was not an option. The host acted like we were stupid when we asked for it. There is a restaurant below the rooms that you can order off the menu, but not until 9:00. Very misleading. We had 2 rooms reserved. One room only had 1 drinking glass with no way to get another. There was no housekeeping or a way to……

“Room was comfortable enough. Bathroom was quite small. Staff is very hard working and wear a lot of hats doing multiple jobs at once. Nice that a warm breakfast buffet is included. If you’re looking for a stay far from anything this is your place. ”

“An excellent, comfortable and stylish stay in the peaceful highlands a short distance from Fort Augustus. Well located for exploring the area around Loch Ness and the Eastern side of the North Coast 500, we also took a day trip to the Isle of Skye which was easy enough. Thoroughly impressed by the facilities in the cottage, very tastefully decorated and with everything you might need whilst away. The tea, coffee and milk on arrival was a nice touch. Couldn’t recommend Faebuie Cottages highly ……
