“Laikyns Lodge is an amazing home on a beautiful sprawling property. It is a beautiful, huge log home with quality everywhere. Amazing indoor and outdoor spaces. The warm indoor pool kept 5 kids (and their parents) busy. The walk from the pool to the outdoor hot tub was cold but well worth it. On clear nights, the fire pit is a great gathering spot. When it rained, we all moved to the outdoor wood burning fireplace on the massive covered deck. All in, Laikyns was first rate. We will definitely……

“The cabin is perfect in it’s location. It faces a pond and the host has placed two bird feeders in front of the cabin. It was great fun to watch the variations of birds( we counted 11) we watched the deer come to the pond in the morning and at dusk. We watched the fox run across the yard. We were close to Hocking State park and hiked both Friday and Saturday. It was perfect! We laughed, ate, shared stories,ate, rocked on the porch and did I say, ate?!! “Enjoyed our stay, nice and peaceful. Easy access to different areas of the state. We had friends close to Columbus area, and we drove down to Hockings Hill. Also, went to Dayton for the eclipse at the Air Force Museum. The Vrbo, was clean and spacious. The layout was nice had older home charms. Has steep stairs.”

“The home was beautiful, inviting, and so enjoyable! The owner has thought of everything! A slice of country paradise with the hot tub, pellet stove, creek, swing…we thoroughly enjoyed coming “home” to rest here after our adventures. It is a bit of drive to any town, so it was so nice to have random spices and condiments if needed, and we had to take advantage of her complimentary toothbrushes for my daughters. I highly recommend the home and the host.”

“Beautiful, fully appointed cabin. My family and i had a great time playing games, sitting by the fire, hiking and soaking in the hot tub. My dog had her first family vacation. It was great to play with her in the fenced backyard. Highly recommend!”

“This is the second year my group has rented this property. Great price for the number of beds. Love the large activity room. Our only (minor) issue last year was that the grill was out of propane, so we had to do burgers on the skillet. Happy to report the grill was ready to go this year, and they even had a spare tank! We will likely be back next year too!”

“We are counting down to when we can return. Already planning to stay again soon. We had 3 adults, 2 kids 1 teen and 2 dogs. It was incredible. We almost enjpyed the property as much as we did hiking in Hocking Hills. This was our 6th time in the area and this was my favorite property. House was perfect and divided enough that we didn't feel on top of one another. Beds were so comfortable! Everyone enjoyed the hot tub/swim spa. I can't say enough good things. “My husband and I loved this little cozy cabin for a weekend getaway. It had everything we needed for an escape from reality. Personally, I loved the quaint decorations around the cabin it felt like we were staying with family. I would recommend making sure you have the code/check in directions pulled up (maybe 5-10 min away) because there was no cell service (which is what we wanted, but we had to drive back out to get service).
