“Laikyns Lodge is an amazing home on a beautiful sprawling property. It is a beautiful, huge log home with quality everywhere. Amazing indoor and outdoor spaces. The warm indoor pool kept 5 kids (and their parents) busy. The walk from the pool to the outdoor hot tub was cold but well worth it. On clear nights, the fire pit is a great gathering spot. When it rained, we all moved to the outdoor wood burning fireplace on the massive covered deck. All in, Laikyns was first rate. We will definitely……

“Such a sweet, peaceful spot. I loved sitting at the picnic table in the AM with my coffee watching the sun come up over the hill as the mist burned off and the baby goats frolicked in the field. Just as relaxing was the night time cup of tea on the front porch watching the sun set.”

“To start to say this place was great is an understatement! Was the perfect place for my wife and I’s first wedding anniversary. Check in and check out were very simple. The evenings and mornings were relaxing as could be with the location being very secluded. Cabin was very very clean and comfy all the way around. We look forward to making this a tradition and going back every year. I seen some negative comments leading up to our stay which is generally just a year say. To say those comments……

“My 18-year-old daughter, and I spent 3 nights in Hocking Hills at the chalets A-frame cabins. Location was convenient to All of the hiking locations. The cabin itself was very clean and had everything we needed, and we appreciated that it was pet friendly. The area was very quiet and the hot tub was clean in good working condition. “You won’t get claustrophobia here - open, rustic decor, feels a bit like a really big, cool man cave. Two games could use some attention — small version of foosball needs repaired or replaced; the bumper pool table needs nuts to hold down the bumpers; the jute box needs repairing as well. The hiking was outta this world! Reminds us so much of many spots in Zion National Park in Utah. Ohio’s best kept secret!”

“The room was ideal. Large. Clean. Great bath with a multifunction shower. However, all of the lights are 6000k LEDs which is fine if you're shopping, but atrocious in a bedroom. There was no escape. I wound up turning everything off and using ambient light from Athens. Fix that and you'll have an ideal spot. ”

“The cabin is beautifully situated on a hilltop with beautiful views!! The kids loved the hot tub. The cabin was very clean but I do recommend bringing an extra pillow if you sleep with more than one pillow. Also, if using the hot tub, bring extra towels because you only get 4. Within about 10 minute drive to Hocking Hills attractions. Would stay here again!!”

“The communication with property owner wasn’t great. I got to the property and he never sent me a code to unlock the door. I had to drive over an half-hour away to get cellphone service to message the owner for the code. Place is as pictured but there were flying lady bugs all over.”

“We had a wonderful time on our Hocking Hills vacation. I have stayed in many places in the area and this was a favorite, for sure. It was sparkling clean and had lots of nice amenities. We used the kitchen for most meals and it had almost all we needed. (bring your own seasonings) We had rainy and cold weather so we definitely utilized the super clean hot tub! Even the kids enjoyed it, to my surprise. The fireplace was nice post-hot tub too. There is no internet, which was well communicated by……
