"Where do I start. Rooms are filthy. Paint on the walls are dirty. Room furniture and drawers show signs of rat and roach infestation. Poor security, broken lock on door to balcony. Water backs up in the shower stall. The bed linens looked like they were borrowed out of the Crimean war. I was served rotten fish in the onsite restaurant and was still charged for it. "The staff at Idlers Rest was extremely helpful and so kind and accommodating, especially Maxine !! Husband and I stayed for a week and was greeted every morning with delicious breakfast and hot coffee. Dinner was no different! Maxine makes the best brown stew chicken hands down! We will be returning!"
