“Laikyns Lodge is an amazing home on a beautiful sprawling property. It is a beautiful, huge log home with quality everywhere. Amazing indoor and outdoor spaces. The warm indoor pool kept 5 kids (and their parents) busy. The walk from the pool to the outdoor hot tub was cold but well worth it. On clear nights, the fire pit is a great gathering spot. Only two minor issues is that the owner could invest in slightly better wifi. Was able to get the little bit of work I needed to do done but it’s very slow. “We enjoyed staying at this cabin. There is a bird feeder that brings birds, chipmunks, and squirrels in and out all say. The pond is busy with fish and frogs. “You won’t get claustrophobia here - open, rustic decor, feels a bit like a really big, cool man cave. Two games could use some attention — small version of foosball needs repaired or replaced; the bumper pool table needs nuts to hold down the bumpers; the jute box needs repairing as well. “Was a nice little cabin for the small price paid! There is a neighboring cabin down the hill a little bit but it was over all secluded & quiet! Comments prior talk about a junk yard near, yes there was at the front of the property but still was a ways from the road the cabins sit on. Would definitely stay again! Only little issue we had were squirrels or raccoons in the roof or the vents, sounded like they had somebody’s hiking boots on. Lol”
