“Shore Relaxing is an amazing place. The house is absolutely beautiful and in a great location. We spent time hiking False Cape State Park (VA)...we found a gate to enter from NC. We also explored the Currituck Beach Lighthouse Park/Maritime Museum and hiked Currituck Banks Preserve. The wild horses made daily visits which excited, cautiously, our dog Roscoe. We look forward to a return to Shore Relaxing and would recommend to family and friends.”

“The accommodation was wonderful, clean and quiet. The nearby lighthouse, park and beaches all very conveniently sorted . The only negatives were the beach cart needs to be replaced and the listing corrected to explain exactly what dates the pool would be open and heated. Other than that, it was very pleasant. “This was our first time staying in Carova-make sure your 4x4 is in working order beforehand. Unfortunately our truck couldn’t navigate through the soft sand even though we aired way down to 10 psi. Called Mr. Clipper for assistance and he immediately sent help. We ended up renting a jeep the next day which was actually pretty fun. The house was easy to find on our navigation and Mr. Culpepper actually called us beforehand to let us know we were good to go and check- in a little earlier than……

“The house was perfect for a getaway of rest and relaxation. Open floor plan with plenty of space for everyone to spread out and come together for meals, movies and games. The weather was perfect so we were able to open the windows and let the sound of the ocean and breeze come through the house. “We had a great 2-week stay at Robyn’s Nest. There was a total of 9 of us - 4 kids ranging from 3 to 11 and 5 adults ranging from late-30s to early-70s. The house was clean and the kitchen had great amenities as well as plenty of countertop for meal prep. We appreciated little details like nightlights in the hallways and plenty of towel hooks in the rooms and bathrooms for all our towels. Also loved the pool and the canopy to provide shade! “This is the second time staying here and it has been great. Just a short walk to the beach, has a hot tub and all the space and amenities that we needed.”

“Everything was really great with one exception. Had no sheets on top floor master bed, and none in the home. Was told by the property manager to contact cleaning service which we did. Cleaning service said property manager had been told no sheets in the house for that bedroom and expected some to be dropped off. I guess the drop off didn't happen. Property manager gave us a $100 credit to get sheets at Harris Teeter, a 1/4 mile away, but Harris Teeter doesn't sell sheets, so we didn't have them……

“The location of the house is fantastic. You have quick and easy access to a semi-private beach that has plenty of sand and waves for fun in the sun. We rented chairs and umbrellas from a third party company, which I'd highly recommend — they set everything up in the mornings and take them down in the evenings, per city regulations. The pool is on par with other houses in the area, small but adequate. It's not going to blow you away, but it gets the job done. You probably won't even use the tiki……

“We had a great time staying at the Tiki Shack! It was a great location, and we did have about 5 horses come by daily which was pretty cool. I did see a horse trying to munch on a plastic cup (it had been there for a while it seemed) that was outside between the garage and house, and nudge the trash can. After the horses left I picked up the plastic cup, and some other little stuff in the yard that I saw, even glass. The house was pretty clean, there was some dog food or some type of snack behind……
