“The location is pretty good. It’s only a 4min walk to the beach. The house has some issues but overall is decent. There’s a leak in the master bedroom. There was a very big rainstorm and rain started to leak into the one front window and drip consistently throughout the night causing me and and wife to have to sleep in the living room. The cleaning service is pretty terrible. The place had some very noticeable dirty areas. The remotes needed batteries, the blinds in every room are broken and……

“The studio was very cute and nicely decorated. Everything was clean and in good condition. We really like the privacy aspect of the entrance and area outside to relax. It was a nice little spot that was an easy walking distance to the beach. We biked to Duck in just a few minutes. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. I would recommend this spot for a couple on a budget beach vacation.”

“Carova Beach is magical - as if time stood still. In my opinion, this is one of the loveliest houses out there. It is SPOTLESSLY clean, it has everything you need and the old world style of the home is the icing on the cake. Couldn’t be any more relaxing. The beach is BEAUTIFUL and a two minute walk from the house. Be prepared! There is NOTHING in Carova Beach. Bring water and food unless you plan on going back and forth to the pavement which isn’t exactly easy. MIND THE TIDES when getting on……

“This is the second time staying here and it has been great. Just a short walk to the beach, has a hot tub and all the space and amenities that we needed.”

“My husband and I love this little condo complex, the location is great, pool is perfect and short walk to the beach. This unit wasn’t great. We had to call maintenance twice (5 day stay), the king bed was hard as a rock, no extra pillows and it was pretty outdated. The AC worked though! Great stay, we would just try and avoid this unit for next time.”

“This house was perfect for our group. The views and sunsets on the sound were amazing! I would stay here again for the view alone but this house had so much more to offer. It was specious enough for our group of 10 adults to be together and was also big enough so that when someone needed space they had it. The kitchen was wonderfully appointed and had everything we needed as we are a group of friends that loves to spend time in the kitchen and preparing meals together. The double dishwashers……

“We spent the Labor Day long weekend here and it worked out perfectly. The walk to the beach is quick and easy. the house is well appointed and plenty of space. The deck has a nice view of the sound that we enjoyed while eating dinner.”

“Everything was really great with one exception. Had no sheets on top floor master bed, and none in the home. Was told by the property manager to contact cleaning service which we did. Cleaning service said property manager had been told no sheets in the house for that bedroom and expected some to be dropped off. I guess the drop off didn't happen. Property manager gave us a $100 credit to get sheets at Harris Teeter, a 1/4 mile away, but Harris Teeter doesn't sell sheets, so we didn't have them……
