“This is the perfect place for a quiet family getaway. House has everything you could ask for with comfortable beds and pillows. Full kitchen with spices on hand. Game room and dvds on first floor. Incredible views from balcony and snorkeling sets, kayaks, boogie boards etc. Private, primitive snorkeling site that can be reached scrambling over lava rocks (stairs washed out)- Not for small kiddos or anyone needing assistance, but most people would have no problem, especially since it’s so private……

“We found everything we needed in a restful home base during our 3 nights at this guest house. Steve, our host was very friendly and helpful. The gardens were a treat to wander through and we awoke to the sound of birdsong every morning. We really appreciated the beach towels, and cooler provided for our visits to the nearby Punalu'u' Beach and Ho'okena Beach Park.”

“It was a nice condo. Relaxing and spacious for family of 6. Everything was functional. The steep road to the condo was a surprise, but manageable. Short walk to pebble beach, with perfect sunset and a small trail along the shore. Only we didn't expect that much mosquitos in Feb. ”

Given the house is a bit out of the way from restaurants, we were so happy that the house was well outfitted for cooking.The beach towels and equipment were great to borrow as well! Make sure you rent a vehicle that can handle inclines - a 4x4 would be best! We would love to stay at this property again!”

“The house accommodated us very well for our family of seven. The views were breathtaking from the lanai and from each room! If you enjoy a quiet, remote location and having a studio suite in a lower level (with a small bathroom) that is segregated from the rest of the living area, (which was a surprise for our family), this place is for you. The beauty of the surroundings is accentuated by the steep hills surrounding the property. A true respite!”

“During our short stay we were able to visit Volcanoes National Park, the Green Sand Beach close to South Point, go night snorkeling with Manta Rays in Kona, visit several beaches, and even drive up Mauna Kea on our last day in Big Island (night flight) - we could not have achieved this and more without staying in such a perfectly placed location, one with unique landscape on its doorstep (the local history of lava flows was truly fascinating). Lisa was a wonderful host who ensured we knew how to……

“Location near two step, pebble beach and other stuff south of Kona. Christine the caretaker was very nice. Perfect sunset view from the deck. Only issue was the small fridge which tended to condensate. Ice maker was good but no freezer space. No kitchen stove but hot plate worked fine.”

“We loved our stay at the farm. Todd is sooo nice, he gave us tour of the farm, there are many fruits and flowers, chicken, duck, dogs. We had fresh papaya, orange, avocado, sour orange to eat with magical berry ( which tastes like ice cream ). Kids loved the farm tour and said it’s their top 3 activities. It’s a unique experience for us.”

“We stayed a week in early Fed 2024. The location was spot on and the view to die for. The best thing about this place hands down was the patio!! The view was so great. We had a screen door problem and that was taken care of quickly. Water was no issue at all. You just had to conserve a bit that you might not be use to at your house. Many people complained about the drive. It was a bit curvy but you get use to it. And the place to the main road was only one minute. We loved the drive to the……
