When a person reads negative reviews there is a sliver of hope that they aren’t accurate. In this case they were actually accurate. The front desk staff the representatives of the resort more or less, were very rude at check in and check out. The resort of massive and the only guidance we got was her pointing a figure in the direction of our room and said see the concierge. The rooms and all indoor areas did not have any working air conditioning. It was miserable!! Hard to sleep and even go to eat because the restaurants were HOT. The restaurants all have to be booked in advance and very hard to book even with the help of a concierge. The food was not good at all. The elevators didn’t work. The beach had a lot of seaweed. The rooms were moldy and outdated. The safe in our room didn’t work. The pools could use an update. That being said, some of the staff did try to go above and beyond and they were obvious. The resort is big but walking around the grounds is too much of a burden because they really are beautiful with the lush trees and all different vegetation. Will I go back or recommend? No. Maybe once the remodel is all done it will be different but it will be hard for me to consider going here again.

The lagoon and pools were quite nice. The buffet was pretty decent as well. We weren’t able to get in to any of the a la cart restaurants during our 3 nights on property

*****Reviews are deceiving. I am writing this review so others don’t waste their hard earned money. There is a potential, but the resort is very outdated. Rooms are dusty, showers have mildew, AC is capped (that’s if the AC in your room even works). No AC in common areas and dining areas. Low quality food and drinks. No name brands at all. Staff were very friendly, but they are greatly understaffed. Also after checkout they charge “$200 pesos for government fee” even though was all paid for. **they also don’t mention they have ongoing construction in the main buffet area and that the kids pool is closed** Some of their reviews are paid influencers or members who have a completely different experience. You are better off going to Paradisus Cancun or Barcelo

My family n i had an awful experience with Grand Sirenis Hotel. Most employees are rude, the food sucks. They are misleading telling ppl they have 4-5 restaurants they only have 3 open half of the property is closed. We wernt able to eat at any of their restaurants because we didn't wat to buy into timeshare or vip withch timeshare isn't even mentioned on the site. And the worst part of it all my family and i got stuck on the only lobby elevator with no AC in almost 100° weather.. my husband kept on pressing the alarm button and no one heard anything, yelled for help and still nothing. We could see the employees on the phone or talking to eachother while we are calling for help... my poor niece was freaking out., we all were. I asked to speek to the manager and they would just give me the runaround and thats me speeking spanish. Never got to speek to the manager and never got compensated for any of it. So NO i dont recommend this place.
