“This was a very family friendly, pet friendly option. We were able to go to the beach and also relax at the Inn with the Pier right at our Inn. The newly renovated Olympic size pool at a close to walk/drive facility was also a plus. You get wrist bands to go there with the purchase of the rooms. We would definitely go back. ”

“The location is pretty good. It’s only a 4min walk to the beach. The house has some issues but overall is decent. There’s a leak in the master bedroom. There was a very big rainstorm and rain started to leak into the one front window and drip consistently throughout the night causing me and and wife to have to sleep in the living room. The cleaning service is pretty terrible. The place had some very noticeable dirty areas. The remotes needed batteries, the blinds in every room are broken and……

“Carova Beach is magical - as if time stood still. In my opinion, this is one of the loveliest houses out there. It is SPOTLESSLY clean, it has everything you need and the old world style of the home is the icing on the cake. Couldn’t be any more relaxing. The beach is BEAUTIFUL and a two minute walk from the house. Be prepared! There is NOTHING in Carova Beach. Bring water and food unless you plan on going back and forth to the pavement which isn’t exactly easy. MIND THE TIDES when getting on……

“My husband and I love this little condo complex, the location is great, pool is perfect and short walk to the beach. This unit wasn’t great. We had to call maintenance twice (5 day stay), the king bed was hard as a rock, no extra pillows and it was pretty outdated. The AC worked though! Great stay, we would just try and avoid this unit for next time.”

The reading nook was great, and we appreciated all of the games and toys to keep the kids entertained. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. There was an issue with the garbage disposal when we arrived, but the property owners quickly resolved the issue. We have no complaints, and we would definitely stay here again!”

“Our stay was perfect! The condo was very clean, close to the beach, and close to the park across the street! Everything was very easy to walk to, including the beach, even with an almost one year old! The condo was very baby/toddler friendly and the complex was very quiet! “This house was perfect for our group. The views and sunsets on the sound were amazing! I would stay here again for the view alone but this house had so much more to offer. It was specious enough for our group of 10 adults to be together and was also big enough so that when someone needed space they had it. The kitchen was wonderfully appointed and had everything we needed as we are a group of friends that loves to spend time in the kitchen and preparing meals together. The double dishwashers……

“Everything was really great with one exception. Had no sheets on top floor master bed, and none in the home. Was told by the property manager to contact cleaning service which we did. Cleaning service said property manager had been told no sheets in the house for that bedroom and expected some to be dropped off. I guess the drop off didn't happen. Property manager gave us a $100 credit to get sheets at Harris Teeter, a 1/4 mile away, but Harris Teeter doesn't sell sheets, so we didn't have them……

“The location of the house is fantastic. You have quick and easy access to a semi-private beach that has plenty of sand and waves for fun in the sun. We rented chairs and umbrellas from a third party company, which I'd highly recommend — they set everything up in the mornings and take them down in the evenings, per city regulations. The pool is on par with other houses in the area, small but adequate. It's not going to blow you away, but it gets the job done. You probably won't even use the tiki……

“We had a great time staying at the Tiki Shack! It was a great location, and we did have about 5 horses come by daily which was pretty cool. I did see a horse trying to munch on a plastic cup (it had been there for a while it seemed) that was outside between the garage and house, and nudge the trash can. After the horses left I picked up the plastic cup, and some other little stuff in the yard that I saw, even glass. The house was pretty clean, there was some dog food or some type of snack behind……
