"I have stayed this weekend in room 113 - I have to say firstly what amazing staff! The bloke who cleaned my room helped me numerous times with locking myself out. He was so polite and nothing was too much trouble. Batman who is from Dubai , very friendly and polite and knowledgeable about his job. Had a very interesting conversation about champagne. "Very good a-la-carte breakfast. Nice location, close to the old town and few minutes walk from the train station. Complementary, delicious cookies in the room. Charming hotel and bedrooms, one issue is that water was dropping in the bedroom from the ceiling, from time to time. I notified the reception so I hope they fixed the issue. "

"Really great boutique hotel / restaurant, think the name gives away the sort of menu you get with a well stocked bar & wine cellar. The parking was easy. The food is excellent & staff knowledgable, friendly & helpful. The rooms have been given an upgrade & are in a fantastic modern style with really comfy kingsize bed. "

Delicious and ample breakfast, tailored to your needs with plenty of tasty options which set us up right for a long walk. "Very pretty country location. The rooms including common rooms were all lovely. The tiny bathrooms were cramped and windowless and let the property down. Breakfasts were lovely, with lots of choice. We didn’t have dinner there, as prices were over the top, compared with what we were paying in other locations on our trip around the UK. "
